  • Title, names, and affiliations should appear on the top of the poster.
  • Written content should be organized as follows - Title, Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion (although Results and Discussion can be combined under one heading). For posters based on design projects, please organize as follows – Title, Concept, Goals/Objectives, and Discussion.
  • A simple sans serif-face font (e.g., Helvetica, Calibri) should be used.
  • Lettering for the title should be at least 2.54 cm (one inch) tall. The authors' names and affiliations can be somewhat smaller.
  • Posters are not manuscripts, so limit verbiage and use tables and figures to describe the research. Details can be provided in discussions with interested parties.
  • Make sure that lettering for text and illustrations are large enough to be readable from a distance of 1.5 m (5’)
  • Push-pins or Velcro buttons to hang posters can be obtained at venue.
